Our client is seeking a Safeguarding Support Worker who is suitably qualified and an expert practitioner in safeguarding practice. Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a child-centered way, promoting the wellbeing and safeguarding of children above all else.
  • Act as a point of contact for safeguarding disclosures, concerns, and referrals, offering guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
  • Liaise effectively with external agencies and statutory partners, ensuring information is captured, shared, and stored appropriately.
  • Review, process, and update cases within the Online Safeguarding Casework Management System.

  • Comply with all relevant data protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR, particularly regarding safeguarding casework.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding legal frameworks and the ability to apply them in practice.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
