Overview

Red Bull Technology have exciting opportunities for undergraduate students to spend a year as part of our F1Technical team. The placements will run from summer of 2025 for one year and offer the opportunity to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in an open and dynamic environment. Based on our Milton Keynes campus, this CAD student placement opportunity will allow the successful candidate to develop skills in problem solving, creativity, teamwork, planning, innovation and communication whilst performing the following tasks:

Responsibilities

• Working on a wide variety of projects within our Electronics Design function and alongside our team of Mechanical and Electronic Engineers.
• You will be responsible for the specification, routing, packaging and installation of Electrical systems within technical projects, working closely alongside our Electronics designers.
• You will be required to carry out fault investigation and resolution of allocated issues.
• You will be working with various disciplines across the design function.

Qualifications

• Studying an Engineering, Science or Mathematic degree
• Possess an understanding of Electrical and Electronic systems used within the Motorsport, Aerospace or Automotive industries.
• Have excellent analytical skills within CAD, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the use of Computer Aided Design Harness packages and PCB design tools. (Ideally Unigraphics NX12 and Altium) would be advantageous.

The successful student will be studying towards an Engineering, Science or Mathematic degree (preferably with an interest in Electronics) and be highly computer literate. You must be returning to university to study for at least 1 year after your placement year.
