Buyer (Main Contractor) | Permanent | London

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + package

Location: London

I have a great opportunity for a Buyer to join a Main Contractor on a permanent basis, based out of their East London offices.

The company has been operating for over 100 years and has an excellent opportunity within the industry for their reliability and quality-focused approach, which in turn leads to the business winning a lot of repeat business.

They carry out new build and refurbishment projects from £1m to £20m, covering a range of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and heritage.

They are looking for someone to step into a Sub-Contractor Buyer role; however, they are open to taking on an experienced Materials Buyer that is keen to take on a Sub-Contractor Buyer role.

The main thing they are looking for is a strong track record working in procurement for a reputable Main Contractor that works on various projects across multiple sectors.

Experience:

• Experienced Buyer with a strong Main Contracting background
• Sub-Contract Buying experience is ideal but a strong Materials Buying background will be considered
• Ideally have experience on a variety of projects across multiple sectors
• Excellent commercial skills and awareness
• Good longevity with previous employers
• Able to commute to East London on a daily basis
