Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Buyer to join their busy Purchasing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their purchasing career - whether you're currently an Assistant Buyer or already in a buying role looking for a workplace that truly values its people.

The Role

The Buyer will support the full procurement process - from issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries to liaising with suppliers and coordinating with internal departments. While there will be occasional supplier meetings, this role is more about coordination and efficiency than heavy negotiation.

What You'll Be Doing

Issuing and managing purchase orders via the MRP system

Monitoring deliveries and ensuring timely stock arrivals

Maintaining and updating supplier and product information

Managing stock levels and replenishment planning

Collaborating with internal teams to support purchasing needs

Ensuring all products meet compliance and quality standards

Coordinating logistics with transport teams and couriers

Ideal Candidate Profile

_ Already in a buying/purchasing role and ready for the next step

_ Highly organised with great attention to detail

_ Strong communication and people skills

_ Comfortable working with stock data and admin processes

_ Proficient in Microsoft Office (CIPS qualification a bonus but not essential)
