About the Role

As a Buyer, you will be at the heart of our procurement activities, collaborating with various stakeholders to source a range of indirect products and services. This role offers the opportunity to establish and maintain vital supplier relationships while driving commercial success through strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities for a portfolio of indirect products and services, ensuring alignment with budget holders for optimal cost and time efficiency.
  • Lead tender processes to select suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and sustainability, while leveraging synergies across the organisation.
  • Engage with stakeholders early in the process to foster cost discipline and strategic planning.
  • Achieve key performance metrics, including budget reductions and adherence to procurement processes.
  • Represent the Procurement department in cross‑functional meetings, advocating for compliance and recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in purchasing, with strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
  • A solid understanding of purchasing dynamics.
  • Industry experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Construction, Defence, Engineering, or Manufacturing is advantageous.
