Job Opportunity: Business Teacher with Computing (KS3-KS4)

Location: Lambeth

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term cover (until July 2026)

Working Pattern: 3 days per week – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Business and Computing across KS3 and KS4, with an equal split between both subjects.

Key Subject Breakdown
  • Business (50%) – Teaching GCSE Business to Year 10 and Year 11. Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons and preparing students for GCSE assessments.
  • Computing (50%) – Teaching KS3 and KS4 Computing. Covering core topics such as programming, digital literacy, systems architecture, and computational thinking.
Working Days
  • Wednesday to Friday (fixed days)
Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in both Business and Computing.
  • Support students in developing strong subject knowledge and achieving target grades.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development.
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Person Specification
