We are looking for an efficient and organised candidate to work as part of a small team. The candidates should have a good standard of education; have an NVQ 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent; with experience of customer care issues and working in an office environment. They should have a professional, and polite telephone manner, good organisational and interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate at all levels. You will be expected to act as a member of the team providing a frontline service to our customers and have the ability to undertake a range of administration duties. Competence in the use of information technology (Microsoft Office) is essential.

Responsibilities
As a Business Support Officer your duties will include but are not limited to:
- To help members of the public, businesses and stakeholders who call into Phoenix House to solve problems they may be experiencing with the service and procedures. Assessing and prioritizing service requests, case management, including recording all transactions for the service on supporting work flow programs (such as CRM and CAPS), and procedures and, where necessary, escalating the call to a relevant team
- Use of the Facilities Services desks to update any requests from internal departments for Property Services to arrange maintenance.
- To support the Caretaker Supervisor/Property Services Team and assist with daily work load.
- To arrange provision of all service area purchasing and delivery of goods. In-depth knowledge of supporting financial and procurement ordering systems, including internal stationery and specialist equipment supplies.
- To be responsible for service word processing and maintaining a level of competence in the use of new technology and programs, as required by the service.
- To work with other support services, such as Customer First and ICT, to provide smooth functioning of administration and support of the service, and to provide cover when required.
About you
- NVQ 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent skills
- Demonstrable evidence of working in a busy office environment
- Experience using financial management and/or ordering systems.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to deal with all customers and sensitive/challenging situations
