A leading asset management firm is seeking a Business Support Manager to support the Global CIO and the Senior Investment Management Team. Responsibilities include preparing materials for meetings, managing communications, and leading investment projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisation skills, discretion with confidential information, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience in asset management is preferred. The Business Support Manager, Investments will support the Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and his Senior Investment Management Team across the Global Asset Management division.
Participate in various committee and Senior Manager Meetings. Take minutes when required and track completion of actions and tasks either assigned to or by the Global CIO.
Lead and support Investment projects and initiatives, such as drafting the CIO's quarterly newsletter, generating ideas and materials and conducting research. The role is effectively considered an active and contributing part of the Investment management team.
Preparation of materials for external media briefings and client events. Prepare and review thought pieces on behalf of the Global CIO.
Work with the Executive Assistant to the Global CIO to facilitate the communication and coordination between the Global CIO and his Senior Leaders as well as the broader Investment department including Ameriprise and Global Asset Management colleagues.
Ensure consistency of communications, timeliness of delivery and suitable understanding of all relevant parties of requirements and expectations.
This position should be able to take the initiative to ensure the ClOs decisions and preferences made are consistently carried across the remainder of the business, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

Work with the Global CIO's Executive Assistant to pre-empt and respond to queries on behalf of the Global CIO.
Excellent stakeholder management, working with people across Global Investments and the wider business.
Resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong with MS Word / Power Point / Excel.
Articulate with effective verbal and written communication skills.
Confident and comfortable with senior management.
Capable of capturing and summarising relevant information.
In addition,an understanding of asset management and financial markets would be beneficial.
Previous experience in Sharepoint would be an advantage but not essential.
