The Opportunity

Oreflow is a well-established, family-owned fabrication and services business based in Welshpool. We’re now seeking an experienced Business Operations & Administration Lead to take ownership of our office operations and become the central support for leadership, people coordination and business flow.

This is a hands-on, high-trust role where you will:

  • Support the Managing Director & Leadership team directly
  • Oversee office, admin and people coordination
  • Improve systems and business flow
  • Be the steady operational anchor for a growing trades-based business

This role suits someone who has “been there, done that” in small business operations and is now looking for a stable, valued, long-term role.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll own the operational heartbeat of the office and support the people who run the business, including:

  • Providing senior-level office and business administration support to leadership
  • Acting as the go-to person for people and HR administration (onboarding, records, licences, training compliance)
  • Coordinating timesheets, leave records and basic payroll support
  • Supporting recruitment administration and new starter coordination
  • Assist with processing invoices and overseeing purchase order administration
  • Maintaining business registers (ICT, assets, licences, vehicles, equipment)
  • Supporting leadership with reporting, documentation, meetings and follow-ups
  • Keeping systems, records and workflows accurate, compliant and organised
  • Coordinating admin flow between Workshop, Sales and Leadership
  • Improving systems, tightening processes and introducing better ways of working
What We’re Looking For

You’ll likely bring:

  • Strong experience as an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator, Business Manager or Senior Administrator
  • Confidence supporting owners and leadership teams
  • Strong organisation, follow-through and calm under pressure
  • Practical experience handling HR admin in a small business setting
  • Solid Microsoft Office and business systems capability
  • A steady, proactive mindset with a genuine sense of ownership
  • A grounded, professional communication style
  • Experience in engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, trades or mining-adjacent businesses is highly regarded.
