This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping service delivery, driving improvement, and supporting strategic initiatives that make a real difference. As a Business Management Officer, you'll be at the heart of our business operations‑supporting planning, coordination, and delivery across a wide range of projects and initiatives. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Directorate and wider council services to ensure systems, policies, and procedures are effective and aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting business planning and forward planning processes.
  • Coordinating communications and service‑wide events.
  • Assisting with inspection preparation and regulatory visits.
  • Leading on asset and policy register management.
  • Promoting data quality and good recording practices.
  • Contributing to service improvement and business continuity planning.

Qualifications
  • Strong experience in project support or business operations.

  • A basic DBS check is required, and the ability to converse confidently with members of the public is essential.
