Business Development Manager (Utilities) – Cardiff – Hybrid Work Arrangement

This growing company has an amazing reputation within their industry for providing top quality utility infrastructure services and civils for a number of sectors within the UK. Due to an influx of exciting new projects, they now require a Business Development Manager to come on board and provide their expertise and offer the best possible service to new and existing customers.

In this role you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders and source requirements from a range of new and existing clients. You will build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business while being the main point of contact within your region. This company has a large portfolio of diverse clientele, so you will not only utilise your new business development skills, but will also manage pre-existing working relationships.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Business Development or Account Management position, either within the multi-utilities, construction or other related industries.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse the existing customer base to identify and secure new business.
  • Develop and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Follow up on self-discovered and passed leads.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and source requirements from a range of new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of new business; be the main point of contact within the region.
