Carter Wellington are working with a global recruitment organisation scaling rapidly, and we’re looking for a high-calibre Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth across the UK and EU IT & Technology staffing markets.

This is a role for a true hunter - someone who understands how technology hiring works, knows how to open doors, and can convert relationships into a consistent pipeline of permanent and temporary staffing opportunities.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our clients footprint across the UK and EU by securing new client partnerships and generating ongoing hiring demand.

You will :
  • Drive new business across permanent and temporary IT / technology staffing
  • Identify, engage, and convert decision-makers across SMEs, scale-ups, and enterprise clients
  • Build and manage a sustainable pipeline of live vacancies
  • Work closely with our offshore recruitment team to deliver fast, high-quality hiring outcomes
  • Position the clients outsourcing-led recruitment model as a cost-effective, scalable solution
  • Own the commercial relationship from first conversation through to long-term partnership
