Business Development Manager | Global Logistics Company

Our office in Welshpool is looking for an onsite Business Development Manager (BDM) to join its close-knit team. In this role, you will be managing and developing key customers on local and national levels. This position emphasizes strategic planning, relationship building, and overall management to provide cost-effective, reliable solutions that meet customer requirements and support business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the national sales team to identify and target new business opportunities aligned with the company capabilities.
  • Build and nurture strong partnerships with key customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned accounts to drive volume growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Savino Del Bene overseas offices, and key accounts to ensure seamless service and collaboration.
  • Provide commercial support including pricing strategies, RFQ mgmt. and customer presentations.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service at all stages of the process, achieving operational profitability and growth targets.
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion and propose initiatives to increase company’s volume at national level.
  • Monitor assigned customer’s performance against budget and development plans, identifying areas for improvement.
Your Knowledge and Experience
