The Role

We are seeking a results-focused, resilient and positive Business Development Manager to lead and expand aftermarket sales across multiple specialist sectors. You will play a key role in developing long-term B2B partnerships, driving growth from existing accounts, and securing new opportunities in the aftermarket and distribution channels.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and margin growth in line with company targets and strategy.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and winning new business.
  • Develop and maintain a robust new business pipeline.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, dealerships, and key accounts.
  • Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Requirements
  • Degree educated, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven track record in business development, account management, or sales within the automotive or related aftermarket sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
  • Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel.
