We are seeking a sales professional with 3-5 years of experience of new business development, preferably in the financial services industry. Your core focus will be selling to financial product providers by building and growing relationships with senior level decision makers. You will play an integral part in growing the UK businss through new logo acquisition, broadening our reach into the Asset Management and Life & Pensions communities. You will be responsible for demonstrating the value of ISS Market Intelligence services and making thoughtful recommendations to benefit senior distribution, operations, product, strategy, and technology leaders.
Driving the full sales process from opportunity identification through to close within assigned territory
Achieve sales goals through prioritizing your activity and sales pipeline
Partnering with your network to develop and deliver tailored business cases demonstrating the value and ROI for our solutions
Presenting solution benefits through in-person visits, industry conferences, and virtual demonstrations
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with prospects, partners, and industry organisations to facilitate new business
Responding to any inbound leads and folding them into a structured follow-up process to maximise win ratios
Leveraging Salesforce to effectively manage activity and pipeline
Educated to degree level
3-5 years of sales experience, ideally with experience selling software solutions or data, and into financial institutions is an advantage
Ability to network and build relationships with senior leaders at financial product providers
Proven experience negotiating and closing multi-year high-value agreements with senior executives
Extensive experience identifying prospects’ needs and challenges, matching services and concept selling
Excellent lead qualifying techniques and sales cycle management skills
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and organizational skills
In-person and virtual product demonstration skills, with ability to navigate multiple web pages and programs seamlessly
Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Salesforce
An active understanding of LinkedIn and how to leverage it
Familiarity with core Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
