This is a key commercial role where you’ll lead efforts in identifying new business opportunities, forging lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a competitive, fast-moving sector.

Your role will include:
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the utilities and infrastructure sectors
  • Engaging with potential clients to understand their needs and offer tailored utility solutions
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, ensuring excellent service and retention
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to represent Crown Energy
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitor activity to shape effective business strategies
  • Creating accurate sales forecasts and working toward quarterly revenue targets
  • Managing customer data effectively using our in-house CRM system
What you bring:
  • Proven experience in business development or B2B sales within the utilities sector(energy, water, gas, or telecom infrastructure)
  • A solid understanding of the UK utilities market, including client expectations, regulatory environments, and market trends
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders
  • Results-driven and adaptable with the ability to work to deadlines under pressure
  • Tech-skills with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
