Business Development Manager

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with energy, resilience, and a drive to make an impact. This is a front-line sales role focused on building relationships, opening doors, and winning business to help the company grow and scale globally.

You will report to the Sales Director and take ownership of driving new business across industries and regions. The company is on a mission to transform motion control by creating systems that last longer, achieve more, and use less.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on momentum: identifying opportunities, building pipelines, engaging decision-makers, and closing deals.

Your Role:
  • Identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across multiple industries and geographies.
  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to ensure customer needs are aligned with the company's vision and technical capabilities.
  • Driving growth through both direct OEM engagement and distributor partnerships.
  • Consistently delivering and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Providing market intelligence and commercial insight to align product strategy with customer demand.
  • Maintaining accurate, high-quality CRM (HubSpot) data and sales forecasts.
  • Representing the company as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
  • A strong track record in business development and sales, consistently exceeding ambitious targets.
  • Experience in building new pipelines from scratch, with confidence in cold outreach and customer acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals with OEMs, distributors, and high-value accounts.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit—resilient, competitive, and motivated by winning.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot) and modern sales processes.
  • Based in Bristol or willing to relocate.
