This forward-thinking creative agency is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Aberdeen. They specialize in crafting engaging visual and digital content, video, and animation, helping a wide range of organizations connect with their audiences in meaningful ways.

The Opportunity:

They are looking for someone commercially minded and people-focused to help drive the next phase of growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing long-term client relationships, and supporting the wider commercial strategy.

This role is ideal for someone confident in the business development process who enjoys uncovering client needs and helping shape solutions that deliver results.

Your role will involve:
  • Spotting new opportunities by monitoring the market and exploring new sectors or audiences
  • Building and managing a pipeline of leads through networking, industry events, proactive outreach, and digital channels
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers, understanding their needs and challenges
  • Working with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and creative pitches
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals that benefit both parties
  • Shaping and refining the agency's sales approach and strategy
  • Keeping CRM data up to date and using analytics for activity and forecasting
  • Collaborating with creative, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth handovers and aligned delivery
  • Monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed
What we need:
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in a creative, media, or digital environment, but open for the right candidate
  • A proven track record of meeting targets and generating new business
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Organized, motivated, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience with CRM tools (they use HubSpot)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events
