Job description
Introduction

At KOREC, we do things differently. We don’t just sell technology - we shape the way professionals across construction, surveying, and mapping use innovation to solve real‑world problems.

We’re now looking for a Business Development Executive who’s ready to be part of that journey, someone who’s curious, driven, and eager to learn. You don’t need to know everything about Trimble technology yet; what matters most is your energy, initiative, and desire to connect with people and uncover opportunities.

If you’re looking for a role that combines relationship building, technical curiosity, and real impact, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Location

Craigavon, Northern Ireland (Hybrid)

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth, engaging directly with the market to uncover and develop new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with our marketing and sales teams to turn interest into meaningful conversations, and conversations into long‑term partnerships.

You’ll spend your time researching potential customers, reaching out, qualifying leads, and helping potential clients discover how KOREC’s technology can transform their work. You’ll also be a key link between marketing campaigns and on-the-ground sales activity, ensuring our message reaches the right people in the right way.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and identify potential customers and build tailored prospect lists.
  • Engage directly with prospects via phone, email, and social media.
  • Qualify inbound survey and mapping leads before passing them to the sales team.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to align outreach with campaign activity.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and prospects through trust and credibility.
  • Support the sales pipeline by tracking and updating opportunities in our CRM.
  • Actively represent KOREC within the industry through networking and social selling.
  • Increase awareness of our brand and portfolio across your market.
What We’re Looking For

We’re not expecting perfection - we’re looking for potential. If you have the attitude and energy, we’ll help you build the knowledge.

Essential
  • At least 1 year in a sales‑focused or customer‑facing role.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable talking to people on the phone and in person.
  • Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and CRM systems to manage leads and connections.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Positive, proactive, and curious, always looking to learn and improve.
Desirable
  • Experience in technical sales within the construction or survey industries.
  • An interest in technology and willingness to learn about Trimble Survey products.
  • A valid driving licence.
  • Experience using contact data tools (e.g., Cognism).
What Success Looks Like
  • You consistently build new connections and uncover quality opportunities.
  • You hit your KPIs around calls, social engagement, and lead generation.
  • You contribute to measurable growth in the sales pipeline.
  • You represent KOREC with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
Why Join KOREC

We’re passionate about helping people grow - not just professionally, but personally too. Our culture is built on trust, inclusion, and collaboration. You’ll be joining a supportive environment where new ideas are welcomed, and hard work is recognised.

We Offer
  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.
  • Tailored induction, product training, and ongoing professional development.
  • 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays), rising to 30 with service.
  • Pension scheme, Simply Healthcare plan, and Life Insurance.
  • Access to Perk box, corporate gym memberships, Cycle to Work Scheme, Virgin Media discounts, and Technology Purchase Scheme.
  • Mental health and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • We’re proud to be accredited by Investors in People and Investors in Wellbeing.
