GMP Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded, award-winning legal practice that is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the firm's ongoing growth and commercial success.

The role is predominantly office-based and focused on telephone activity. After successfully completing the probation period, hybrid working arrangements can be offered. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a competitive salary dependent on experience and an attractive bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively convert and follow up on quotes to secure new business and meet agreed annual targets via both phone and email.
  • Engage with new introducers, as directed by the Business Development Director, to promote the firm's services and support the expansion of its market presence.
  • Work towards defined objectives, including arranging new business meetings.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Confident telephone manner with a strong focus on client care and empathy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also using your own initiative and performing well under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

The successful candidate is expected to start in early 2026.
