Flourish in the West Midlands is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and ongoing account development. You’ll meet clients face-to-face across the West Midlands, identify new opportunities, and build lasting relationships in the shipping and logistics sector.

Qualifications

• Confident, personable, and professional communicator.
• Motivated by targets, incentives, and career progression.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
• Experience working towards KPIs or targets (sales or non-sales backgrounds considered).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• A proactive and resilient mindset with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close and ongoing account management.
• Identify and win new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct face-to-face client meetings across the West Midlands.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand client logistics needs and present tailored solutions.
• Work towards and exceed KPI and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and sales forecasts.
