Howdens Joinery is hiring a Business Developer to grow local depot business in Reigate. You’ll speak to customers face-to-face and on the phone, generate leads, arrange appointments and move opportunities through the sales pipeline with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives.

You’ll be a confident communicator, motivated by targets, and adept at turning conversations into sales opportunities while supporting depot activity and delivering excellent service.

Qualifikationen

• Confident communicator on phone and face to face.
• Enjoy building relationships and turning conversations into opportunities.
• Commercially minded with focus on sales and adding value.
• Self-motivated, positive and proactive.
• Organised and reliable, able to manage customer activity and pipelines.
• Comfortable working to call targets and activity levels.
• Experience in telesales, account management or customer-focused roles is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
• Identify opportunities to add value and drive repeat business from customer projects.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Support administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
• Collaborate with the depot team to hit targets and deliver great service.
