Job description

Reporting to an Assignment Manager, you'll undertake end‑to‑end business analysis ensuring coordination of impact assessments, requirements definition and functional design across systems, processes, people, data and journeys to ensure an end‑to‑end solution design is in place. As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for working closely with colleagues across teams to identify and document processes, lead workshops to gather and capture business requirements from a range of stakeholders and work within our governance cadence to champion and prioritise into delivery. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attendance at one of our office locations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring all change requirements are defined end‑to‑end and that the impact on systems, people, processes, data and journeys is understood
  • Influencing and supporting business users in defining requirements rather than solutions
  • Managing the development, distribution and baseline approval of all communication related to end‑to‑end business requirements and functional design
  • Overseeing requirements analysis and ensuring functionality is compliant with company standards, business and technical target architectures
  • Reviewing testing strategies, plans, criteria and results to ensure delivery of end‑to‑end solutions
  • Managing change in business requirements throughout the project, ensuring all change management activity takes place and impacts are fully documented and understood
  • Working within business analysis practice, following a structured end‑to‑end business analysis and design framework which ensures appropriate decisions can be made regarding changes to systems, data requirements and processes and the impacts of doing so including EPIC and user story creation within agile teams
Qualifications
  • BCS BA foundation or practitioner level certification
  • Proven experience in defining end‑to‑end solutions, with a focus on requirements definition and functional design across various domains
  • Experience with modern tooling such as Agile backlogs and Miro
  • Confident facilitating workshops, understanding stakeholder requirements, identifying problems and collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Proficient in Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies is preferred
  • Expertise in utilising an end‑to‑end business analysis and design framework to guide decisions on system and process changes
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability
  • As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
