Overview

Our client, a technology company providing cloud-based software, managed services, and business process outsourcing services, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team on a permanent hybrid basis in the Newcastle area.

Acting as the bridge between customers, product managers, IT developers, testers, and other internal teams, you will evaluate processes, define requirements, and provide data-backed recommendations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyse, and document requirements.
  • Produce detailed software specifications.
  • Collaborate with product owners.
  • Provide insight on system design, business processes, and industry compliance.
  • Work closely with development, testing, and project teams to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Support testing and validation where in-depth business knowledge is required.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
About you

You will have worked as a Business Analyst or hold a business analysis certification (BSC Diploma, IIBA, CCBA or CBAP) and you will be used to working across multiple projects. Experience with digital transformation projects would be ideal. Knowledge of the utilities sector would be extremely advantageous

You will have
  • Solid experience capturing and documenting requirements into clear software specifications.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (or similar) to capture requirements.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, especially Agile.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
