About the role

Nucleus is undertaking a significant Transformation that changes our platform technology and organisational structure, whilst migrating clients and assets to the new platform as part of a major outsourcing agreement with FNZ. This role is a 12-month FTC covering maternity leave, responsible for delivering programme analysis across process, people, and systems, readiness, and migration workstreams, helping bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Working alongside colleagues in Transformation, Technology, and the wider Business teams, this role helps realise our core strategic objective of delivering a new platform by investigating business situations and evaluating options for improvement, ensuring they meet business needs. You will work closely with third parties to maximise change delivery effectiveness.

It is paramount that the role strives to deliver quality and meeting delivery targets, bringing together cross-functional teams for success.

Main responsibilities

  1. Assessing internal change requests and using platform knowledge to ensure problem statements are well-understood.
  2. Applying analysis techniques to elicit business requirements and inform discussions on approaches and solutions.
  3. Facilitating and leading requirements workshops to gather key deliverables, using effective questioning for comprehensive understanding.
  4. Producing quality analysis outputs such as Business Requirements documents, Change Request templates, and Business Process models.
  5. Analyzing 'as-is' and 'to-be' processes and creating process maps to visualize improvement opportunities.
  6. Coordinating review and sign-off of solution documentation to ensure fitness for purpose.
  7. Feeding into scoping and implementation of evidence provision with the test team.
  8. Considering regulatory compliance obligations, including Consumer Duty.
  9. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Seeking continuous improvement and self-development opportunities.
  11. Completing mandatory training within required timescales.
  12. Ensuring compliance with project governance, reporting, and tracking, and delivering good customer outcomes.
  13. Demonstrating Nucleus values and behaviors.
  14. Ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct at all times.
