Hybrid position
The Business Administrator Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments within agreed timescales, meeting nationally recognised standards. This role focuses on supporting Apprentices throughout their learning journey, ensuring timely progress, compliance, and the development of professional workplace skills.
Experience and Skills Required
- Must be a qualified Assessor with a recognised Assessor award: (D32/D33, A1, TAQA OR CAVA, OR EPA) - essential
- Must possess either a PTTLS/CTTLS or AET/CET or higher certificate- essential
- Experience of delivering Business Administration Apprenticeship Standards - essential
- Must hold appropriate occupational competency in a Business Administration environment, including experience in project management.
- Curriculum Development is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- IT literate, knowledge of Microsoft packages, online/digital learning and webinar-based technologies
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, British Values, and equality and diversity.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of apprenticeship learners
- Monitor Apprentice progress, conduct regular reviews, and ensure timely completion of all assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve their qualifications.
- Prepare, mark, and moderate work in line with awarding body requirements.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and achievement of seeing allocated learners within the agreed timescale and in line with compliance regulations
- Provide one-to-one or group teaching and learning sessions
- Meet retention and completion targets
- Support the learners and employers in producing off-the-job training plans
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, compliance and general administration
- Attending and contributing towards team meetings and standardisation meetings
- Adhere to all policies related to safeguarding, equality, diversity, health, and safety.
- Promote and maintain a strong safeguarding culture.
- Act promptly on any safeguarding concerns or disclosures following agreed procedures.
- Provide pastoral support to learners where appropriate and refer additional needs to the relevant support teams.
