evri is seeking a Bulk Driver in Exeter. You will drive a Volvo lorry from a modern fleet, with 9-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, in a 45-hour week. Salary £37,042.20 per year, with a supportive team at the UK’s premier parcel delivery company.

Responsibilities include planning routes, maintaining vehicle condition, and handling loading/unloading as required. Excellent knowledge of transport laws and safe driving are essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Hold a Class 1 driving licence with valid Driver CPC.
• Complete DCPC training hours or be working towards them.
• Excellent knowledge of road transport laws and safe driving.

• Inspect vehicle and trailer daily and complete a Defect Report if needed.
• Load/unload at sites or assist with it; scan consignments and move pallets.

WhatYou’llDo:

You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old.They’re a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leatherseatsand many more optional extras to make sureyou’recomfortable.

Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8am. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance whereyou’llbe driving, taking the stress out of your day.

Key Role Responsibilities

We don’tmicromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4 to 6, sothere’s plenty of time to enjoy being out on the open road - butyou’ll still be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift.

You’llmake sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others,you’llneed to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.

You’llbere responsible for inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and complete a Defect Report if necessary.
