Job summary

A leading recruiting firm in the UK is looking for experienced Broadband and Fibre Engineers for long-term work on the Openreach network. Qualifications

• Experience working on the Openreach network or similar telecom environments is essential.
• Must have a good understanding of broadband installation, testing, and fault repair.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads is required.
• Confidence working at heights and in the underground network is crucial.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• A full UK manual driving licence with a maximum of 6 points is required.

Responsibilities

• Installing broadband services (Copper or FTTP)
• Fault finding, testing & diagnostics
• Fibre splicing or copper jointing (depending on background)
• Overhead and underground installation work
• Resolving customer faults and completing repairs
• Working safely at heights and outdoors in all weather
• Using smart devices and digital job packs
• Delivering quality work to targets and KPIs

Skills

Experience working on the Openreach network or similar telecom environments

Good understanding of broadband installation, testing and fault repair

Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads

Confidence working at heights and in the underground network

Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points)
