Job summary

Amey Consulting is seeking a Structures Engineer/Bridges Engineer to join our expanding Structures Team across the UK. You will contribute to feasibility, optioneering, design, and construction on National Highways schemes, with hybrid working options and offices in Cardiff, Exeter, London and Bristol.

You will grow toward Incorporated or Chartered status, applying DMRB/Eurocodes, and collaborating with a team of ~25 local engineers and 350+ specialists nationwide to deliver multi-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Team player with collaborative mindset across disciplines.
• Experience as Assistant Engineer or equivalent in structures.
• Understanding of DMRB and Eurocodes for highway bridge design and assessment.
• Awareness of sustainability practices in engineering.
• Able to develop technically sound engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce technically sound engineering solutions.
• Lead and support management and delivery of projects from start to finish.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and scheme deliverables.
