Job summary

Amey is seeking a Senior Engineer - Bridges to join the Consulting Structures Team in a hybrid role with offices in multiple locations in the UK. The role involves leading a small team, delivering bridge and highway structures projects, and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

You will contribute to bid work, ensure design quality and safety, and liaise with clients and suppliers. A Chartered status or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Bridges/Highways structures.
• Ability to produce or oversee technically sound engineering deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver technically sound engineering solutions.
• Own projects from quotation to handover.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and documentation.
