Qualifications

  • Experience with minor/major bridges schemes is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and service priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and develop programmes for bridge schemes.
  • Manage technical approvals of new structures.
  • Assist in the technical progression of clients.

Skills

UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
Knowledge of DMRB and MCHW for bridge design
Experience in managing inspection and assessment regimes
Experience of NEC contract management

Education

IEng or CEng

Tools

Relevant design software / CAD / Civils 3D

Experience required…

Essential :
  • UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
  • Knowledge and application of the DMRB and MCHW for design of minor / major bridges schemes.
  • Develop and deliver programmes.
  • Managing inspection and assessment regimes.
  • Technical approvals of new structures.
  • Managing Abnormal Indivisible Load movements.
  • Experience of NEC contract management.
  • Delivery of the projects and service priorities.
Desirable :
  • IEng or CEng
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Relevant design software / CAD / Civils 3D / where appropriate
