Job summary

Job description

We’re currently looking for an experienced Bricklayer to join our dedicated Voids team in Scarborough. If you're a skilled trades person with strong foundation in bricklaying and additional multi-skilled abilities we'd love to hear from you!

As a vital member of our team, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of repairs, maintenance, and installations both internally and externally. We’re committed to a “right first time” approach, and we’ll rely on you to uphold our standards in health and safety, customer service, and quality.

Your tasks will include:

  • Internal and external brick repairs
  • Installation of lintels and groundworks
  • Basic plastering, roofing repairs, and joinery
  • Plastering, tiling, pointing, paving, drainage, concrete paths, and soakaways

You may also be asked to support the development of others by mentoring apprentices, volunteers, or work experience placements.

Towenen succeed in this role, you’ll need strong knowledge of bricklaying practices, relevant legislation, and the repair and maintenance of buildings. You must hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Bricklaying or have equivalent trade experience. A full UK driving licence is required (we’ll explore reasonable adjustments where necessary).
