Job summary

LKQ Cirencester is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead the branch's day-to-day operations across retail, warehouse and fleet. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will develop people, deliver outstanding customer service and drive operational excellence.

You will coach teams, manage KPIs, ensure compliance and maintain stock integrity while delivering a positive, inclusive culture. This role offers a varied leadership path and opportunities to grow across UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in retail, warehouse, logistics, or distribution.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building.
• Ability to manage KPIs and operational performance.
• Customer-focused mindset with drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory processes.
• Experience with fleet operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations across retail, warehouse and fleet.
• Coordinate resources to maintain safety, efficiency and service levels.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage stock accuracy, inventory control and stock takes.
• Ensure pick-to-manifest targets and customer SLAs are met.
• Oversee returns, warranties and reverse logistics.
• Support Click & Collect and delivery operations.
• Maintain fleet readiness and vehicle compliance.
• Coach, develop and appraise colleagues.
• Recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
• Foster an inclusive, customer-focused culture.
• Monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
