The Company

The Panel Company is a fast growing retailer and distributor of wall panels - for bathrooms, feature walls and external walls. The company has a turnover of c. £17m from a combination of internet sales (www.panelcompany.co.uk) and retail outlets in Dartford, Bristol, Huddersfield, Rotherham and Gateshead. Dartford is a busy distribution centre covering London & The South East and has the most successful retail outlet in the business. The Role

Full responsibility for Dartford retail and distribution branch

Reporting to MD / Assistant MD and working closely with wider management team

Retail
  • Maximise sales
  • Showroom management (in conjunction with Group Product Manager)
  • Secure Cash Management systems
Warehousing
  • Optimise warehousing
  • Ensure confirmation with Health & Safety requirements
  • Ensure clean and efficient warehouse
  • Minimize damages
  • Efficient processing of Internal Transfers
Operations
  • Ensure fleet managed safely and effectively
  • Ensure prompt delivery
  • Ensure optimal driver schedules
Overall
  • Cost management
  • Staff management

In this role you will be working closely with all the group management team.
