Job summary

LKQ Europe GmbH seeks an experienced Duty Manager to lead the Bath branch, spanning retail, warehouse and fleet operations. You will develop people, deliver outstanding customer service and drive operational excellence to achieve branch targets.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will coach teams, manage stock, ensure safety standards and foster a high-performance culture across the UK & Europe network.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience coaching and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• Customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Knowledge of stock control and operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence business performance.
• Confidence using operational systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Leading the operation by coordinating retail, warehouse and fleet activities.
• Coaching, motivating and developing colleagues; delivering daily team briefings.
• Driving customer service and ensuring branch standards and procedures are followed.
• Managing stock accuracy, stock takes and returns processes.
• Ensuring Click & Collect, deliveries and fleet operations run smoothly.
• Monitoring KPIs and overall branch performance; identifying improvement opportunities.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
• Maintaining a safe, compliant and customer-focused work environment.
