Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative to support customers in-branch, over the phone and online, in the Cheshire area. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, with interviews to build a Talent bank in the location. Start date to be confirmed after offer.

You’ll be trusted to adapt your approach for different customers and situations while delivering friendly, accurate service and guiding customers to digital banking tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Ability to listen to customers and understand needs.
• Comfort with using technology and digital banking tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs with friendly, trusted help.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers through relevant banking products and services to manage money confidently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot potential issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
• Help keep face-to-face banking meaningful and accessible on the high street.
