Nationwide in Sale, Greater Manchester, is seeking a Customer Representative to support customers in branch, over the phone and online. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours weekly), with a 45‑minute commute requirement to the branch.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front‑line banking is helpful.
• Ability to listen carefully and understand customer needs.
• Comfort using digital banking tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while upholding security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that meet their needs and help manage their money.
• Work with colleagues to deliver excellent service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers.
