  • Ensure all proof of delivery notes are accounted for.
  • Balance branch till daily ensuring accuracy.

Job description

We are looking for a Part‑Time Branch Administrator who, as part of your role, will support the branch by contributing to the financial performance. Main duties include:

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all proof of delivery (POD) notes are accounted for
  • Ensure missing notes and PODs are investigated and replacements obtained if required
  • Balance branch till daily ensuring everything is accurate and up to date
  • Complete branch banking books and ensure monies are banked daily
  • Forward till reports to Head Office and update banking template
  • Allocate pay‑later notes
  • Monitor unpaid cash sale reports, escalating any discrepancies or queries
  • Ensure any unpaid or outstanding amounts are collected in a timely manner
  • Run weekly account statements and ensure these are up to date
  • Ensure staff accounts are up to date
  • Monitor and analyse the aged debt report
  • Allocate customer payments whilst ensuring monies are banked daily
  • Update customer notes with detail as and when required
  • Monitor and review customer credit limits
  • Deal with general customer queries either face‑to‑face or over the telephone

Working hours: 25 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working. Shift pattern to be agreed with Branch Manager. As a Branch Administrator, you will have experience in telesales and/or customer service, ideally gained in a fast‑paced sales‑driven environment.
