VIGO is seeking a seasoned BMS Operations Manager on behalf of a highly reputable building systems company operating throughout Central London. If you are a highly methodical and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Building Management System operations, this could be your ideal career opportunity.

Role Overview

Your primary aim in this pivotal role will be to ensure all clients’ Building Management Systems operate optimally on all fronts. From maintenance and energy efficiency, to lifecycle management and technological innovation, your strategic oversight and skilled team leadership will contribute directly to the client's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the BMS Operations division
  • Manage the division budget and prepare accurate forecasts
  • Oversee all operations and ensure they align with client and company objectives
  • Ensure the provision of top-quality services while maximising operational efficiency
  • Network and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement key continuous improvement initiatives based on analytics
  • Manage all operational health & safety and compliance processes
  • Perform regular audits and prepare detailed reports
The Ideal Candidate
  • Demonstrable experience in a BMS Operations role (5+ years)
  • TREND, or Tridium system experience is desirable
  • Essential to have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and associated equipment
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to inspire a dedicated team - track record of this!
  • Outstanding understanding of the commercial contracts and financial management
  • Degree in a relevant technical discipline is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
