Provide an interface between the laboratory and clinical services to ensure The London Clinic fulfils all statutory and mandatory regulatory requirements, while also providing support to client sites in line with Service Level Agreements. Develop and disseminate specialist evidence-based national and local transfusion guidelines and policies, including monitoring and reporting on progress with CQC, NICE Guidance NG24, and NICE Quality Standard QS138. The Blood Transfusion Practitioner will be an accountable professional and is a key contributor to patient safety, staff training, education and development and the safe and cost-effective use of blood and blood components within The London Clinic (TLC; The Clinic).
