A healthcare organization in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Blood Production Officer to process, test, and distribute blood donations, directly impacting patient lives. The successful candidate will engage in training and development, manage tasks essential for operational efficiency, and work with a supportive team. Qualifications include a Level 3 qualification or relevant experience, alongside a GCSE in English and Maths. This role offers flexible working opportunities and substantial annual leave.
Your essential role in the processing, testing, storing and distribution of blood and blood products will directly contribute to the saving and improving of patients lives.
We will provide you with an extensive induction and training programme and ongoing development to support you in your role and achieving your career ambitions.
As part of the selection process, you will be invited to attend our Blood Centre, so that you can gain an understanding of the requirements of this essential role
This role will require some unsocial hours working with prior notice, unsocial hours enhancements will be payable.
