Blue Legal are partnering with an international Accountancy and Business Advisory firm who are recruiting for a Bids Manager to join their London office. The role involves supporting bids that are strategically important to the firm across all sectors and streams of business, and undertake background research. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills.

The Responsibilities:

  • Assist in win strategy discussions, stakeholder engagement, and deputise where needed.
  • Design and drive project plans, leveraging the right skills and resources (e.g., SMEs, Risk, POCL) to maximise value and success.
  • Draft executive summaries, guide win-theme-based design, and coordinate the production and sign-off of final materials.
  • Lead day-to-day response activities, serve as the main contact point, and ensure compliance with bid processes and best practices.
  • Conduct RFP compliance reviews for peers and assist with presentation planning and preparation.
  • Maintain performance data, contribute to firmwide bid analysis, and promote knowledge sharing through intranet content, sessions, and posts.

The Candidate:

  • Extensive bids and pursuits experience, with a strong drive to win and a solid background in end-to-end bid delivery, ideally within professional services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven project management capabilities, ensuring effective coordination and delivery throughout the bid process.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the confidence to ask insightful questions that challenge and refine strategic approaches.
