Bid Writer – Highways

Salary: £35k - £45k

Pinnacle Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading highways contractor who is actively seeking a Bid Writer to operate within the Work Winning Team, based in Hertfordshire

In this role, you will be part of an industry-leading team contributing to and ultimately overseeing the written element of proposals for some of London’s highways & infrastructure frameworks and projects.

Responsibilities

• Converting existing client intelligence into compelling win themes with the wider team
• Developing writing strategies for proposals
• Leading a team of authors and subject matter experts for specific proposals, providing coaching as necessary
• Storyboarding and writing of technical and managerial proposal responses to a high standard
• Reviewing of proposals

Key requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated bid professional with a strong track record looking to further their career in the writing field, preferably within the highways / civil engineering sectors. Designation as Lead Author will depend on experience.
