Behaviour Mentor

We are recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to support students at a thriving secondary school in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour mentoring to secondary school students
  • Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and the pastoral team to implement behaviour support plans
  • Monitor progress and help create a positive, respectful learning environment
  • Act as a role model and trusted adult for students who need additional support
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g. in schools, youth work, or mentoring)
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and de‑escalating situations
  • Excellent communication, resilience, and teamwork skills
  • A positive attitude and a desire to support young people to succeed
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
