Overview

In this role, you'll ensure that every customer enjoys a consistently high level of service, adhering to our company policies and procedures. You'll deliver an outstanding coffee-stop experience, working effectively with the back-of-house team to provide first-class service with particular attention to hospitality and the promotion of sales. We are a family-run UK business operating food and beverage outlets at airports, delivering exceptional experiences to every customer. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You'll be a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic team player, passionate about coffee and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant coffee-stop setting. This is an hourly paid role, with shifts that may include early mornings (e.g., 2 am) or late finishes (e.g., 11.30 pm), but no split or double shifts are required.

Responsibilities
  • Trained barista.
  • Deliver high standards of customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Promote sales while maintaining quality and consistency in service.
  • Work with the back-of-house team to ensure a smooth operation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Significant previous barista experience is essential.
  • Experience in health and safety/food standard requirements.
  • Familiarity with airport-based hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven ability to generate sales in a hospitality setting.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of food and beverages.
  • Well-developed customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle customer complaints.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow processes and maintain high service levels under pressure.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Strong commitment to customer service; calm under pressure; passionate about coffee; outgoing and engaging; strong team player; resilient.
Requirements
  • Provide proof of right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an Airport Security ID Pass (assistance provided in obtaining). The application process includes a valid passport, a criminal record check, and five years of personal and employment references.
