A leading healthcare provider in England is seeking a Barber / Retail Assistant for the Secure Care Division. The post holder will provide barbering services to patients at Ashworth Hospital, assist with patient shop operations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates should have barbering experience and be creative individuals looking to develop their skills in a clinical setting. The role offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on therapeutic patient care.

The post holder will work within Rehabilitation and Recovery Services, primarily providing hair care/barber services to the patient population at Ashworth Hospital. The role also involves supporting the patient shop when required, transferring stock, stocking shelves, serving patients and ensuring appropriate use of the till system.
This is a flexible role that may require working across the Secure and SpLD Division, including Ashworth, Rowan View Medium Secure Unit or Low Secure Units depending on service requirement. The post is based at Ashworth High Secure Hospital.
