Compensation: £18.73 - £20.91 / hour

Llanarth Court is a specialist hospital providing medium and low secure care for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorder, and for men with intellectual/learning disability. We also have a 4 bedded open rehabilitation bungalow. We are a sector-leading example of how providing a wide variety of care settings and a clear care pathway in the direction of recovery, can be achieved for all patients.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a bank staff nurse, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

  • In conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
  • Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested
  • Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift coordination framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonably practicable a safe environment
  • Maintain a continued level of personal professional development
