A UK health service provider is seeking a PMVA Trainer in Bronllys to deliver training and offer personal safety advice in line with health and safety regulations. The role includes planning training programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing support on violence and aggression issues. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and clinical experience in related fields. Under the supervision of the Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression Advisor the post holder will provide PMVA training and personal safety advice to all staff groups in line with Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the AllWales NHS Violence and Aggression Passport and other associated legislation and guidance including The Anti-Violence Collaborative Wales. Support for the provision of Personal Safety, Violence and Aggression training and education throughout Powys Teaching Health Board, including supporting the planning and administration of training sessions and assessment of competence ensuring the most advanced techniques are embedded. As directed by the PMVA Advisor, deliver to groups and provide 1‑2‑1 support where required. This may include service user's families and training on de‑escalation techniques and conflict resolution. Provide advice to managers and staff on Violence and Aggression, Personal Safety issues, reducing restrictive practices and risk assessments. Responsible for working within national guidelines. Ensure all training has considered the equality and diversity of the audience and is rooted in all training packages.
