A healthcare provider is seeking a Bank General Practitioner for a role at HMP Hewell in Redditch. This opportunity involves delivering varied healthcare to male patients with diverse needs, engaging in clinical governance, and working closely with fellow healthcare professionals. We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Hewell, a category B remand prison based in Redditch, Worcestershire. HMP Hewell has a fast paced healthcare environment delivering care to male aged 21+, with a range of needs including substance misuse and long term conditions. Within this role you will be working closely with our senior nurses to deliver care which includes, first night prescribing, discharge prescribing, urgent follow up for duty doctor, general practice and Substance Misuse prescribing. We are looking for a General Practitioner who is a team player and enjoys working with a busy environment where not two days are the same.
Sessions available will be between Monday to Friday 9am-9.30pm, Saturdays 1pm-5pm or 2pm-6pm.
This is a bank role with a salary of £89 per hour.
