Overview

Vacancy at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our Emergency Care Team. As part of this well established team of clinical pharmacists and technicians you will support the Lead Pharmacist in the development of our service to optimise medicines use and deliver patient-centred pharmaceutical care to patients on our acute admissions unit.

The Pharmacy department within West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust is located on three sites and has over 100 staff, with the main Pharmacy department based at Watford General Hospital. The department provides a stimulating, friendly and professionally rewarding environment for staff to develop their clinical expertise.

With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us. We are building on the success of our award-winning virtual hospital and re-imagining models of care, working ever more closely with partners and making the most of advances in digital healthcare.
